Italian Sausage Soup
INGREDIENTS: 1/4 lb Italian sausage 1 celery stalk, diced 1/4 red onion, diced 1/3 c orzo pasta, uncooked 3 c chicken broth 8 oz diced tomatoes, drained 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning 1 tsp garlic powder Pepper Heat RoadPro Saucepan. Add sausage, breaking into small pieces. Once browned, transfer to plate & set aside (drain extra grease if needed). Using same saucepan, add celery, onion, saute until tender. Add dry orzo, saute 5 minutes. Add chicken broth, diced tomatoes with juice, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, pepper & browned sausage. Bring soup to a boil, cover and simmer for 30 minutes (or until orzo is cooked). Serve and enjoy!
