Italian Sausage Soup

INGREDIENTS:
1/4 lb Italian sausage
1 celery stalk, diced
1/4 red onion, diced
1/3 c orzo pasta
8 oz diced tomatoes, undrained
1/2 Tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 Tsp garlic powder
1/2 Tsp salt
Dash of pepper
3 c chicken broth
Grated parmesan
Using the RoadPro 12-Volt Saucepan, cook sausage until browned. Transfer to a plate and set aside. Add diced onion and celery to saucepan and saute until tender. Then add dry orzo and saute 5-10 minutes. Once toasted, add broth, tomatoes, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir, cover, and let boil for 30 minutes. Serve in bowl and top with parmesan if desired.
